BCPLUS Characteristics
Hyosung BC Plus is the fixed biological contactor (Bio-media) for sewage and waste water treatment. Hyosung, one of the top 5 nylon makers in the world, has produced an outstanding this Bio-Media in developing its enviromental and biological technologies.
The BC Plus consists of Y-shaped nylon BCF Multifilaments and nylon monofilaments.
Y-shaped nylon BCF multifilaments significantly enlarge the surface area retaining more microorganism and making it ideal for operation in high hydraulic and organic loading condition.
Nylon monofilaments are used for maintaining optimal void volume to prevent the microorganism from being in a solely anaerobic state, becoming detached. As results, it is economical to install BC Plus, because applying even small quantity of our media will produce positive results in any circumstance
